Oh Monday

How is your Monday going...did you wake up feeling like you are ready to conquer the week, or did you wake up with the Monday Blues?

Today at Nothing But Clean, we woke up ready to conquer our week and ready to make your home look so clean people will think you just had it built. Today we will be knocking out a little bit of everything i.e. Christmas light removals, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, house washing and pressure washing of ground work/ flat work. Why not start your Monday on a clean slate right? I mean after all it is the first Monday of the New Year, Happy New Year, lets set these standards high! Your Monday is only as "Monday" as you make it, so lets make it a great one!

How I started my Monday, woke up and read a few inspiring quotes as I drank my morning coffee, followed by checking the weather for the week because in the exterior home cleaning business I like to be educated and know what we are up against. Also, I really feel that it helps when scheduling and talking to potential or repeat clients. Upon checking the weather, Houston, I noticed that Wednesday has a high chance for thunderstorms, that being said I went to my schedule to see what we have going on. I'm not sure why but I always like when I see Gutter Cleanings scheduled prior to rainy days. It's something about the sense of knowing that their gutters are going to flow ever so smoothly! Call me crazy. Another thing I personally like to see on the schedule before storms are window cleanings, now I know some of you may be thinking 'that is ridiculous and a waste of time, won't that defeat the purpose of the window cleaning?' and I am here to tell you that it will not mess with integrity of the window cleaning, if the cleaning is done right.

Growing up I have always had a fascination with rain and thunderstorms. I love rainy nights hearing the rain on my windows as the thunder rolls in, it is so relaxing to me. I will even sit outside on my front porch to watch the lightning show, listen to the thunder roll, the rain drops fall onto everything around me while in my eyes cleansing the world in a sense. So you better believe that when the rain comes, the blinds on my windows are up and curtains pulled back, clean windows are not just for sunny days and natural lighting in this house. To me rain is even better with freshly cleaned windows because if they are cleaned right, the Nothing But Clean Way ;), then it actually looks and feels as if you are in the rain. Now, I know a lot of people think that the rain will dirty their windows and who wants that after you just paid to have them professionally cleaned right? Well I am here to assure you that if your windows get dirty or spot up with rain after just having them cleaned, then they were not cleaned properly and you should probably give us a call. A good cleaning should actually last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year rain or shine.  So don't let the rain scare you, get those windows that you have been wanting cleaned, cleaned. Afterwards, when and if the rain comes pull back those curtains, open those blinds and enjoy the view of mother nature in HD. You won't regret it.

Until Next time,
Nothing But Clean
